In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
